The Golden Glow of Christmas Past: Opening The Door - Asheville, North Carolina

Opening The Door:

Today's guest is Tom Jerman, a collector of Santas, who has also written a book about the history of Santas. Learn how he became interested in collecting Santas, why he became fascinated with the history of Santa, and when he decided to join The Glow.

The Golden Glow of Christmas Past:

Collecting vintage Christmas is easy when you become a member of the Golden Glow of Christmas Past®, a wonderful non-profit organization focusing on the education and history of antique and vintage Christmas ornaments, lights, and decorations. The Golden Glow was founded in 1980 by Jerry Ehernberger as a club bringing together a small group of like-minded Christmas light bulb collectors. That little club has since grown into an international organization that holds a large convention in a different city each summer. Their next annual convention will be in Norfolk, Virginia, Tuesday-Saturday, July 13-17, 2021. Registration will open in February 2021.
